BUSINESS SIZE

Getting Started: In section 3 you can specify which sizes of business you wish to target. You can currently include companies based on the number of employees, however in the near future you will also be able to use sales turnover size and number of branches.

Include all: Select this option if you want your list to include all companies, regardless of employee size, turnover or number of branches. You will see on the right hand side of the screen that 'Include all Business Sizes' is listed in the Selected Criteria box.

Specific Business Sizes: Choose this option if you wish to specify one or more specific business sizes to include in your list. Simply enter the minimum and maximum number of employees you would like in the relevant boxes, then click 'Add to Selection'. The employee range you have selected will appear in the Selected Criteria box on the right and the count will update.

To select an open ended range, you can leave one of the boxes blank. For example, to select 50 or more employees, type '50' into the 'From' box and leave the 'To' box empty.

Turnover Bands: To specify one or more Turnover Bands, follow the Advanced Options link and tick the checkboxes for the turnover bands you wish to include. By default companies that meet either the employee numbers or turnover criteria will be included. To include companies that meet both employee and turnover criteria, tick the checkbox on the Advanced options page.

You can add as many employee size ranges as you wish

You can also click on Turnover Bands to select on sales turnover.

Other Business Criteria

Getting Started: In section 4 you can specify other business criteria that you wish to target. Currently these other criteria are the Premise Type and Legal Entity type.

Premise Type: Choose this option if you wish to specify the type of premises you would like to include in your selection, for example Business at Home, Office and Administration, etc. A window will pop up allowing you to select one or more Premise Types. Once you are finished, the Premise Types you selected will appear in the Select Criteria box on the right and the count will update.

Legal Entity: Choose this option if you wish to specify the legal entity types you would like to include in your selection, for example Private Limited Companies, Public Limited Companies, etc. A window will pop up allowing you to select one or more Legal Entity types. Once you are finished, the Legal Entity types you selected will appear in the Select Criteria box on the right and the count will update.

Branch Number: Choose this option if you wish to specify the number of branches you want companies in your selection to have. Leave the minimum or maximum blank where no limit should apply. For example, just enter a From value of 5 for companies with 5 or more branches. Specifying a Branch range will automatically exclude companies where the number of branches is not known unless the checkbox is ticked to indicate otherwise.

You can add as many Premise Types and Legal Entity types as you like.

Suppressions

Getting Started: In section 5 you can choose whether or not you would like to exclude your previous online orders or any data that has been uploaded.

No Suppressions: Choose this option if you would not like to suppress any of your previous online orders or uploaded data. Note that with this option selected you may receive data that you have previously ordered. You will see on the right hand side of the screen that 'No Supressions' is listed in the Selected Criteria box.

Suppress All: Choose this option if you wish to suppress ALL previous online orders or uploaded files. Please choose between suppressing all previous online orders, all uploaded files, or all of both.

Specific Suppressions: This option allows you to only exclude specific online orders or uploaded files. Simply select the order or file you wish to exclude and click 'Add Suppression'. The order or file you selected will appear in the Suppressions box on the right and count will update.

You can add as many individual exclusions as you wish.

Note: Currently you need to contact us in order to have your own data uploaded to your account for suppression, however in the near future you will be able to do this yourself using the 'UPLOAD NEW FILE' link.

Contacts

Getting Started: In section 6 you can choose the contacts you would like to include in your selection.

Email: You can use the 'Do you require Email addresses for your contacts?' option to specify whether the contacts included in your selection should have an email address. The three options are: 'No', which will ignore the contact email address; 'Yes - where available', which will include the contact email where there is one; and 'Yes - for all contacts', which will limit your selection to only those contacts which have an email address.

Maximum Contacts: This allows you to specify the maximum number of contacts you would like per company.

Exclude Companies with No Contact: Ticking this box will exclude from your selection any companies that do not have a contact avaiable. If it is not ticked, your selection will include all companies that match the criteria selected in steps 1-5, with contacts included where available.

Include All: Choose this option if you would like to include all contacts, regardless of their job role or job title.

Select by Job Role: Choose this option if you would like to only include contacts that fill a particular job role within a company. If the 'Contact Job Roles' window does not automatically appear, click the 'Click here to open selection window' button to display it. Additional help is available within the 'Contact Job Roles' window.

Select by Job Title: Choose this option if you would like to only include contacts that have a particular job title. If the 'Contact Job Titles' window does not automatically appear, click the 'Click here to open selection window' button to display it. Additional help is available within the 'Contact Job Titles' window.
