Email marketers ‘include multiple calls to action in their communications’
A new survey reveals that email marketers include multiple calls to action within their email marketing communications.
A report from JangoMail found that almost two-thirds (61 per cent) of email marketers include three or more calls to action in their emails, with the figure rising to 67 per cent among those who report constant campaign success.
The study also found almost seven in ten (68 per cent) of email marketers segment their email lists, while 88 per cent typically use advanced metric tools such as Google Analytics or geotracking analytics to gauge the success of their campaigns.
Email marketers also seem to keeping on top of their B2B data hygiene, with almost nine in ten (86 per cent) of respondents saying they remove unsubscribers from their mailing lists.
Ajay Goel, founder and chief executive of JangoMail, said: "Less is more in email marketing, but it seems marketers have learned to present calls to action in ways that draw acceptable levels of response."
