The amount of money spent by marketers on search marketing campaign is to increase over the coming year.
Industry figures suggest that nine per cent of firms spend over £1 million each year on search marketing techniques.
A further 16 per cent of companies polled in E-consultancy’s UK Search Engine Marketing Report say they spend at least £500,000 a year on initiatives such as SEO.
These results are expected to rise over the coming year as more companies look to reap the benefits of advertising online.
Some 63 per cent of companies intend to increase their search marketing budget in the next 12 months, with just 31 per cent spending the same as last year, reports Internet Retailing.
