According to Biz Community, opt-in email marketing campaigns have proven their effectiveness in the past, as has the influence of social media in improving brand awareness.

By combining the two, companies can optimise their communications to ensure receptive clients are targeted successfully to boost return on investment.

The publication argued that in today’s business world, simply feeding a target audience with marketing material is not enough to guarantee sales and, therefore, a multi-channel approach can often prove more successful.
