This September, the Marketscan sales team has gone back to school and is working hard to gain the much-valued Chartered Institute of Marketing Foundation Certificate which is run by Chichester University.

The aim is to enhance the team’s already vast experience in the B2B data industry by supplementing it with 2 key areas that the course covers: Marketing Principles and Digital Fundamentals. This will allow them to provide even more detailed consultations that go beyond what clients may expect from a data provider.

The Marketing Principles module looks at the marketing strategy environment and the full marketing mix, giving the team a real foundation for marketing strategy creation and awareness of the theory behind it.

The module in Digital Fundamentals, which starts after Christmas, explores the impact of digital technology on customers, understanding the use of digital marketing tools and how to create a successful digital marketing communications campaign.
