The majority of business-to-business (B2B) marketers are involved in some way with social media networks, according to new research.

A study which was conducted by Forrester Research interviewed over 1,000 business buyers in Europe and the US.

It was found that 91 per cent of those quizzed at least view social media contributions, while 55 per cent had signed up to the networks.

Meanwhile, 43 per cent were found to actually be active in creating social media content such as blogs, videos and other pieces.

The statistics can be found in the new report ‘The Social Technographics of Business Buyers’.

Forrester Research advises in a statement: “If you’re a B2B marketer and you’re not using social technologies in your marketing, it means you’re late.”
