Email marketing professionals have been advised to include calls to action in their correspondence with their clients.
Doug Morneau of Rhino Marketing claimed the best way to get results is to instruct the reader to take action.
He noted: “It seems obvious but so many marketers miss the obvious; if you want consumers to do something ask them to.”
Indeed, Mr Morneau stated that instructions like “click here, visit our website, like us on Facebook” and other such requests help the reader interact with the sender and this can boost results.
He added that subtlety can be the downfall of many email marketing campaigns.
Elsewhere, an unnamed blogger on Drop Ship Access recently argued that the use of email marketing initiatives could have a positive impact on a business’ bottom line.
The blogger claimed that email marketing offers the highest return on investment of any marketing technique and can have a significant benefit for firms.
