Cancer Research UK has launched its new direct marketing campaign, which will utilise a direct mailing initiative.
The initiative is specifically targeting the raising of money for the Bobby Moore cancer research fund and was the brainchild of advertising firm Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw, reports website Mad.
Mark Nohr, managing partner, said: “This is an important step in Cancer Research UK’s high-value donor marketing strategy, as they are testing an awareness-raising device as well as a fundraising task.”
The campaign will feature a direct mail drive from Bobby Moore’s widow Stephanie and will include a bathroom door hanger along with informative leaflets concerning future bowel cancer screening initiatives and research projects.
It will also contain the contact details for a telephone donation line as well as a paper form for those wishing to give money by post.
