Door hangers are set to become the next direct marketing phenomenon as local businesses begin to realise the client interaction potential they offer.

According to Christopher Seminatore, CEO of US firm DoorHangerWorks, claims that hanging marketing material on the front door of consumers is a cheap and noticeable way to get messages out.

“Door hangers are put right on the front door of potential customers. They have to look at it and isn’t that what marketing is supposed to accomplish?” he told eNewsChannels.

“Additionally, a door hanger campaign will cost about half of what a direct mail campaign will cost and the results are phenomenal. This is a smart marketing technique that gets results and that’s what small business owners are looking for.”

Mr Seminatore claims that direct mailing campaigns can get lost or mail binned. In addition, while praising the use of the internet, he believes that it is not always suitable for local firms.

Instead, Mr Seminatore states that everything from insurance firms to furniture stores have experienced good results in this “marketing niche”.ADNFCR-8000151-ID-18110494-ADNFCR
