The Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) will itself utilise direct mailing services in order to promote its spring conferences.

Direct marketers are to be contacted about the upcoming IDM B2B Marketing Conference and Annual IDM Data Summit events.

According to the IDM, the campaigns will use personalisation techniques for both off and online campaigns, which will include direct mail and email marketing.

IDM marketing director, Lisa Turner, said that the organisation’s mission is “to keep our profession abreast of new techniques, new media and new practices”.

Continuing: “We recognise dynamic content as being groundbreaking technology that will help organisations large and small to deliver more engaging, responsive campaigns”

The IDM B2B Marketing Conference begins on Tuesday, March 31st, at Harrington Gardens in London.

Nik Wood from BBC2’s Working Lunch programme will be one of the guest speakers on the first morning of the event.
