Fresh strike action looks likely at the Post Office.
In a row separate from the main Royal Mail standoff, around 5,000 members of the Communication Workers Union in Crown Post Offices have said they will strike in a pay and jobs row.
The Communication Workers Union said that, if the strike goes ahead, it will walk out at 2:30pm until the end of business.
Plans to close 70 main branches situated on high streets, or Crown offices, are at the heart of the fallout.
The services currently being run by these branches is to be transferred to WH smith stores.
Workers are also voicing their anger at having allegedly had their pay frozen for the last two years and their redundancy payments reduced.
Last week 100,000 Royal Mail workers suspended industrial action so that talks over pay and jobs could be resumed.
A number of strikes have been executed by Post Office workers in the past few months.
