The Welsh Assembly government has launched a new integrated marketing campaign aimed at encouraging people to reduce the size of their carbon footprint.

Created by Golley Slater, the outdoor, TV and online campaign will highlight ways in which people can take simple steps to reduce the impact they have on the environment.

A microsite will also be available for people to visit so they can calculate their carbon footprint and get practical advice about ways in which they can reduce it.

The campaign will also be supported by a series of short television advertisements featuring the voice of Welsh comedy actor Rob Brydon.

Martin Bush, head of creative at Golley Slater, said: “As the ads were about saving energy it also meant we could keep waste to a minimum. Therefore the props were designed so we could shoot and reconstruct them time and time again rather than using multiple builds.”
